Sui Network experienced a major outage on November 21st due to a bug in its transaction scheduling logic, causing validators to crash and the blockchain to stop for nearly two hours. Decentralized applications on the network could not be accessed during this time. The issue was resolved with the v1.37.4 update, and the network is now back up and processing transactions.
This is not the first time Sui has faced such issues; in July 2024, the network’s RPC nodes faced a major outage, and a similar incident occurred earlier this month with the testnet validators.
