Do you think cryptocurrency is just about buying and holding on for dear life?
Think again!
There is a misleading notion going around: many people believe that as long as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and PEPE are in a bull market, they can buy in anytime and hold on. If you think that way, you are a ticking time bomb, ready to explode at any moment!
Have you heard the saying "buy low, sell high"? But most people do the opposite.
Buying cryptocurrency anytime and holding on is purely based on luck! This is why most people always buy at high positions during high-risk market phases, just before the market turns bearish, leading to heavy losses.
Before buying in, there is one thing you must know!
The smartest investors know that the right time to buy is when the market is not risky, which means when prices are low (at the beginning of a bull market).
Note 1: Don’t get me wrong! I only buy assets that are in an overall upward trend, not a downward trend. So for me, "buying cheap" means identifying a market in an upward trend, patiently waiting for the correction phase to end, and then buying in at the beginning of the impulsive rise.
Note 2: The real "buying cheap" is... knowing that the market you are in is in an upward trend, waiting for the correction phase to end, and the impulsive rise to just begin, then taking decisive action!
Going to buy assets that are in a downward trend? That's not what you should be doing. This idea of looking for low-priced bargains will ruin your portfolio. Because you will be buying cheap in a market where prices are expected to go even lower... you will be at odds with the market, which is the worst thing in the investment field.
I use trendline strategies to determine the overall direction of the market and then, within a reasonable time frame (like 2 hours, 4 hours), I use the breakout of reverse trendlines as a buy signal.
Buy in at the right time and hold on, don’t blindly follow the crowd like many people do now (FOMO), as the market is currently in a high-risk state and may soon reverse.
