The Phantom wallet has risen to number two in the Utilities section of the Apple App Store in the US. The rise sees the wallet, which is popular among users in the Solana ecosystem, overtaking apps like Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Phantom supports other networks and NFTs in addition to Solana. It also offers a fraud detection system and integration with Ledger hardware wallets.

This development comes at a time when decentralized applications (DApps) on Solana are making record fees. According to data from DefiLlama, Solana-based protocols have been collecting high fees.

Phantom recently fixed a bug in an iOS update that prevented some users from accessing their wallets. Users were informed to contact support for lost funds.
