For those of you who are asking this question “why BTC is green when the rest of the market is red?”
Your answer:
Money has to flow first into BTC before it can flow into ALT coins, didn’t get it?
Explanation:
Whales, institutes, typically rich people, don’t use USDT like us shrimps to buy ALT tokens, they use BTC.
I think you have noticed by now that almost every ALT has a pair in BTC “ex.. XRP/BTC … SOL/BTC… etc..” so you can buy ALTS using BTC directly.
So, whenever you see BTC rising, it doesn’t mean that ALTS will follow right away, but it could signal that an increase in ALTS in the near future is a possibility, during such event, you will see BTC price declining or stalling briefly while ALTs inclining, and thats what explain the 10-20-30% increase over night in some tokens, especially low total supply ones.
Take #MDT as an example, if someone throw in 1-2 BTC in it, price will hike drastically.
And on the opposite, you might some time see ALTs decreasing and BTC isn’t, thats because the same people who bought the ALTs using their BTCs are now cashing out and selling their ALTS for BTC.
Simple right?
