**Ethereum Co-Founder Launches "Network State" Project**

Joseph Lubin, founder of Consensys, has unveiled a new initiative called "Network State," aimed at empowering individuals to declare their "personal sovereignty." Announced on Nov. 14, the project seeks to foster a decentralized Web3 and AI economy, addressing challenges posed by regulatory uncertainty. Lubin criticized the SEC's approach, claiming it hampers crypto innovation. The platform, sovs.xyz, operates on Linea, a Consensys-developed zkEVM rollup, allowing users to explore self-sovereignty and build equitable communities. This initiative aligns with the movement towards forming politically autonomous online communities.
