  • Stock Exchange Listings

  • Market Fluctuation

In summary;

  • The third-largest meme coin is up 50% in the last 24 hours and over 100% on a weekly scale.

  • The recent listing of the asset on several global exchanges could be one of the reasons for the massive rally and new record high.

It feels like a bull market right now, especially for some of the more volatile cryptocurrencies like meme coins. After the recent surges of DOGE and SHIB, it’s time for PEPE, the third-largest of the cohort. The frog-inspired meme has skyrocketed 52% in the last 24 hours, surpassing its previous all-time high, and therefore hitting a new high of $0.00002.

Perhaps the two most obvious reasons come from Robinhood and Coinbase, the former of which said it would begin offering trading services with the meme coin, as well as SOL, XRP, and ADA.

At about the same time, Coinbase’s Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal stated that the largest US-based exchange would follow the same path when it comes to PEPE. Furthermore, Grewal confirmed speculations that PEPE would be listed today.

Market Fluctuation

The other two possible reasons are mostly related to the entire crypto landscape and are not centered on PEPE. After all, the entire market turned green today, with bitcoin breaking above $90,000 and recording another all-time high above $93,000.

Many altcoins followed suit, with meme coins taking center stage once again, which is actually the fourth possible reason. Most of the top 100 altcoins saw double-digit gains, including DOGE, WIF, BONK, FLOKI, POPCAT, and BRETT. One of them, PNUT, saw triple-digit gains, but that’s another story.

As a result, investors seem to be turning to the ever-fluctuating meme coin niche for the promise of quick returns during these bullish times. However, please note that these tokens can fall just as quickly as they can rise, so investors should be careful before investing in them.
