The documentary, titled “Framed From the Start: Exposing the SEC’s War on Cryptocurrency,” examines the high-profile legal battle between Ripple Labs and the SEC. The film features interviews with crypto influencers, legal experts, and industry leaders. Despite the importance of the topic, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse declined to take part in the project.
Plans for the future
Los Angeles-based Fruition Productions has screened the film in seven cities for the first round, with plans for a second round in December and a streaming launch on November 21. Plans for screenings in Florida are also under consideration, with an announcement expected soon.
History of the project
The film was originally going to be called "XRP Unleashed," but the title was changed less than a month before release to appeal to a wider audience unfamiliar with the XRP token. The project was officially announced by Fruition Productions in April.
