According to BlockBeats, on November 13, at the Mass Adoption Forum of Devcon 2024, Nubit founder Professor Feng Yu announced that Nubit officially released the first trustless asset protocol based on BitVM - Goldinals. The protocol aims to solve the trust problem of asset creation and transfer in the Bitcoin ecosystem, marking a new stage in the decentralized asset management of Bitcoin.

The Goldinals protocol verifies asset transfers through zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP) and shared state commitments, avoiding reliance on centralized indexers and achieving fully decentralized asset management. This protocol supports the issuance and transfer of native tokens on Bitcoin, allowing developers and users to safely operate assets on the Bitcoin network without having to worry about the trust risks brought by traditional centralized solutions.

Professor Feng pointed out that Goldinals not only complies with the decentralized principle of Bitcoin, but also provides a solid foundation for more Bitcoin application scenarios (such as stablecoins) in the future.
