In July 2024, the German authorities sold 50,000 #BTC at an average price of $57,600, earning $2.88 billion. However, in November, the price of Bitcoin reached a historical maximum — $89,900.
If Germany had waited, they could have received $4.5 billion, missing out on $1.6 billion
