The Zerion team launched the $ETH Ethereum Layer 2 solution ZERO Network. It allows users to trade, exchange, and issue crypto assets in a native wallet without the need to pay gas fees. The ZERO Network utilizes account abstraction technology, where smart accounts and 'treasurers' (Paymasters) sponsor transaction fees.

The new L2 is part of the Elastic Chain ecosystem, created using ZKsync technology. It implements a dynamic scoring system called Onchain DNA, which assesses whether an address is eligible for fee-less transactions. The Zerion project also attracted an undisclosed amount of investment from several angel investors, including Cooper Turley, Spencer Noon, leading Yearn developer known as Banteg, Alex Glukhovski, platforms Lido, Daylight, ETHGlobal, OpenSea, and other market participants.
