Recently, Near Protocol revealed its ambitious plan at the Redacted conference in Bangkok, Thailand, to build the world's largest open source AI model with 1.4 trillion parameters. The scale of this model will be 3.5 times that of the current Meta open source Llama model. The project will be created through competitive crowdsourcing research and development from thousands of contributors through the newly established Near AI Research Center, and participants can join in training a small 500 million parameter model starting November 10.
Near Protocol's mainnet is now compatible with MetaMask and all Ethereum wallets. This means that all Ethereum users can now directly access the advantages of Near chain signatures and chain abstract applications without new wallets or assets. Developers and teams can also integrate the Ethereum wallet selector directly into their applications, allowing users to access using MetaMask or the ETH wallet of their choice.
