Gu Ronghui reviewed the $2 million hacker attack incident that the DeFi protocol Merlin encountered in April 2023 during the speech, pointing out that the event brought profound reflection to the blockchain industry and prompted CertiK to introduce new security measures such as real-time monitoring and background checks. He also shared the growth journey of CertiK since its founding in 2018, noting that the company captured over 60% of the global Web3 security market in 2021 and successfully upgraded to a unicorn enterprise.
