Who doesn't have a position they're holding onto, looking down on whom? 🥳
Today let's talk about holding onto a position:
I believe this is the toughest dilemma everyone encounters; when the direction is wrong, should I choose to cut losses or hold onto the position?
First, we need to understand:
1: Not all coins are suitable for holding onto.
2: Those who only cut losses also can't make money.
What kind of coins are suitable for holding onto?
1: If you are going long: then look for those that resist falling.
2: If you are going short: then look for those that resist rising: when it rises, it has no part in it, but when it falls, it's always at the front. Many people see this and complain it's trash, but I want to say, from another perspective, it might be another path to your wealth. 😁 If you encounter it, cherish it.
Is there a need to act after holding onto a position?
Then I can tell you clearly, yes, you need to act, and you must act.
Many people, after holding onto a position, add a bunch of margin and then just leave it alone, leading to a long period of suffering. 😖
In fact, this is very unreasonable!
Using my personal example of holding onto a position: take TON as an example.
I clearly remember it was September 28th, at that time the market was going up 👆, so I decisively opened a long position at 6.13; but obviously, my judgment at that time was wrong; thus, I successfully got caught at the top of the small hill. 😂😂
I am actually a very rational person; more often than not, when the direction is wrong, I usually choose to cut losses; but after careful consideration, for this asset, I decided to hold onto it, for the following reasons:
1: This asset belongs to the TG ecosystem coin, has real-world application, and has a user base; it is definitely not a zero-value coin.
2: It resists falling, which is the most important; the degree of resistance has even exceeded ETH and SOL, with the downside being that it rises slowly.~
Sharp-eyed people should see that my opening price is 6.13, and my current displayed price is 5.15; I initially held 21,000 (base position), and moved my position to 7,000! So how I could reduce the opening cost from 6.13 to 5.15 in just over a month should be clear to everyone, right? In a few days, you will find the position hasn't changed, but the average price has dropped again. 🤭
The most important point: always reserve enough position; that kind of directly going all-in with high leverage gamblers should not be considered; even Jesus can't save them. 🥹 I'm saying this!
