BlockBeats News, on November 8, according to FOX Business, Republican SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda hopes to assist President-elect Trump in fulfilling his promise to end the Biden administration's 'cryptocurrency war.'

It is reported that Mark Uyeda has been serving on the commission since 2022 and is likely to serve as acting chairman after Trump takes office in January. He told FOX Business that one direction for the agency under Trump would be to suspend new enforcement actions against companies that fail to register until clearer rules are established.

Mark Uyeda stated, 'The war against cryptocurrency by the commission must end, including enforcement actions against cryptocurrencies based solely on non-registration without allegations of fraud or harm. President Trump and American voters have sent a clear message. Starting in 2025, the SEC's responsibility will be to execute this task.'
