Odaily Planet Daily News - Sources reveal that Bitcoin infrastructure and financial services company NYDIG has acquired the Bitcoin mining company Consensus Technology Group (CTG). According to information from LinkedIn, the deal may be completed in October. CTG co-founder and Chief Technology Officer David Westrop's LinkedIn shows that he started a new operational role at NYDIG last month, while another CTG co-founder Joshua Zappala's LinkedIn also indicates that he is employed by NYDIG, responsible for corporate development and strategy. NYDIG declined to comment. According to its website, CTG provides hosting services and operates Bitcoin mining facilities in North Dakota, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, and Missouri, with a total capacity of 120 megawatts and a managed computing power of 5 EH/s.
