The 2024 US presidential election has officially begun voting. In the Asian market at noon on Tuesday (November 5), Bitcoin and Dogecoin rose in the short term. A Pennsylvania judge ruled that Musk's practice of distributing $1 million a day can continue. He released important interview content at the last minute before the election to defend Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, stimulating Trump's chances of winning to rise to nearly 60%.

Just after midnight Eastern Time on November 5, voters in the small town of Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, were the first to begin voting, marking the official start of voting for the 60th U.S. presidential election.

Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and Trump delivered their final campaign messages to Pennsylvania voters, holding events in the southeastern part of the state at almost the same time. As the presidential campaign winds down, both candidates are focusing on Pennsylvania, a state seen as key to securing victory.

Musk released a heavy interview on Twitter at the last moment before the election. He unexpectedly appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast and accused the Democratic Party of hypocrisy and spreading misinformation. During the conversation, Musk also talked about the ongoing allegations against Trump, calling them a "hoax" and comparing them to the means of dictatorship.

Trump and his running mate, J.D. Vance, both appeared on Rogan's show, and Musk, who has been actively campaigning for Trump in Pennsylvania, reiterated the statement: "If Trump doesn't win, this will be the last real election."

Musk spoke about what he sees as the government's dangerous approach to justice, a tactic he compared to the treatment of his company, SpaceX, claiming authorities arbitrarily targeted it and then found grounds to investigate. "They identified SpaceX as a target," Musk said. "They later discovered that it was a criminal act."

Rogan agreed, noting that Trump's critics accuse him of wanting to weaponize the judicial system if he's re-elected, but Musk believes that Democrats have already done that. "They're doing everything they accuse Trump of doing — publicly," Musk said. He believes that while some political exaggeration is normal, Democrats have repeatedly "created hoaxes" to undermine Trump.

Musk also slammed a Harris campaign ad that allegedly misinterpreted Trump's comments about border security to suggest he was taking away women's rights. Musk described the strategy of taking Trump's remarks out of context and said: "They can't even finish a sentence... and they'll push it into every ad, every speaking event, every media outlet."

He also expressed concern about what he sees as a shift toward authoritarianism on the left, claiming that while he once aligned himself with progressive values, he now feels the Democratic Party has become oppressive, especially when it comes to free speech.

Musk believes that efforts to suppress opposing views on certain topics reflect an agenda to control public opinion. "If they're trying to suppress people's ability to communicate, they're only doing it because they want to do something that people don't want them to do," he said.

On Monday, a Pennsylvania judge ruled that Musk's practice of giving away $1 million a day to voters can continue. CNN called the ruling a victory for the tech billionaire and Trump ally. According to CNN, Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Angelo Foglietta rejected the argument of the city's District Attorney Larry Krasner, who argued that the draw was an illegal lottery that violated state law and must be stopped immediately.

In the Asian midday trading on Tuesday, political meme coins such as Dogecoin and DMAGA all rose.

Bitcoin also rebounded from its overnight slump, rising back above $68,600.

According to data from Polymarket, a large cryptocurrency betting platform, Trump's chances of winning have rebounded after Musk's support was heard, returning to nearly 60%.
