Foresight News reported that the Michigan Retirement System disclosed its purchase of shares in the Grayscale Ethereum Spot ETF, becoming the first pension fund holder of the Ethereum Spot ETF since its launch in July.
This Michigan pension fund disclosed in its 13F filing that it holds 460,000 shares of the Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ticker: ETHE), valued at approximately $10 million as of the end of Q3, making it one of the top five holders of the fund. The Michigan Retirement System also previously disclosed its holdings in a Bitcoin Spot ETF valued at approximately $7 million.
