[TRON integrates Chainlink data sources to improve DeFi security]
TRON announced a partnership with Chainlink to integrate the Chainlink data feed service to strengthen the security and reliability of its DeFi ecosystem. This upgrade will enable TRON’s major DeFi applications, such as JustLend and JustStable, to securely use accurate price data to execute transactions and smart contracts.
At SmartCon 2024, Chainlink announced that its data feed currently supports tens of billions of dollars in DeFi total value locked (TVL) and has completed more than $16 trillion in transactions. The service's reliable data source helps prevent contracts from data manipulation and ensures transaction security.
This cooperation will replace TRON’s previous WINkLink oracle with Chainlink’s infrastructure, improving trust in the ecosystem. TRON will become part of the Chainlink Scale plan, which will subsidize Chainlink's operating expenses in the early stages until dApp usage reaches a self-sufficient level and achieves sustainable development.
