BlockBeats reports that on October 31, according to Cointelegraph, MicroStrategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor shared a false statement about Trump's cryptocurrency policy on social platform X to his 3.6 million followers. The statement claimed that Trump supports eliminating cryptocurrency taxation and stated, 'Bitcoin is currency.'

According to investigations, this false information originally came from the social media account Basedkarbon in a post on October 28. The message was subsequently shared by several well-known cryptocurrency social accounts, including Kraken and Bitcoin Archive. Trump did indeed mention the idea of eliminating federal income tax during a recent interview on the Joe Rogan podcast, but he did not address the topic of digital assets.
