DWF Labs manager resigns after allegations of 'spiking' a female partner's drink!

Today (October 30), the Crypto community is buzzing with shocking information related to a senior manager of Market Maker DWF Labs.

Specifically, the X (Twitter) account named Hana (@hananotsorry) accused the DWF Labs manager of spiking her drink while she stepped outside to make a phone call at a bar in Hong Kong.

Hana shared that after finishing her phone call, she returned and suggested switching to a different type of alcohol because she didn't like the taste of this one. However, he insisted that she should not waste it and must finish it before ordering another glass.

She reported feeling 'extremely dizzy' when she stood up. Fortunately, restaurant staff noticed in time through the camera and warned her about the incident.

This account also revealed that the counterpart had often 'enticed' her to a hotel to receive more 'alpha' and promised to help her advance more quickly. He told Hana: 'Come with me, I have a private room at Murray, and near me, I can give you more alpha, I can help you get to many places. If you treat me well, I can provide you with more insider information.'

Hana stated that the DWF Labs manager approached her to invite her to work because she was assessed as someone with 'experience relevant to the Crypto field.'

After discovering the incident, she reported it to the police and warned other female employees in the Crypto industry to be cautious of similar 'temptations.'

Immediately after the above allegations, the manager was informed by DWF Labs to be suspended immediately. DWF Labs stated: "While the matter is under investigation, DWF Labs has decided to terminate the aforementioned partner from management roles, and this decision is effective immediately."

Although both DWF Labs and Hana have not confirmed the name of the alleged perpetrator, the Crypto community has quickly identified this person.

The perpetrator is likely Eugene Ng - who holds a managerial position at DWF Labs and is also a co-founder of the RWA OpenEden project. On the same day (October 30), OpenEden also announced the suspension of a figure to facilitate the investigation.

Eugene Ng has currently locked his personal X (Twitter) page. He has an account with nearly 21,000 followers and has a rather 'thick' beard.

The decisive move by DWF Labs comes amid a backdrop where half of the company's team is female. DWF Labs added: "We do not tolerate actions that go against our core values of integrity, respect, and accountability."
