🧵The art of drawing trendlines to find entries.

1. Necessary conditions to be able to draw a trendline.

➡️To draw an increasing trendline, you must remember this sacred sentence: "The next peak is higher than the previous peak, the next bottom is higher than the previous bottom" and vice versa with the decreasing trendline "The next peak is lower than the previous peak, the bottom after is lower than the previous bottom". If this condition is not met, the trendline will not be formed.

➡️After determining the formed trendline structure, you just need to connect the bottoms together (uptrend line) or connect the tops together (downtrend line). I often connect the whiskers together to get the best effect.

➡️After drawing the trendline, you need to determine the break point of the trendline because when the break point appears, that will be the ideal buying zone for you. For a downtrend line as shown in the picture, whenever the price has not broken the trendline, you just lie still and wait for the break point without having to buy or chase anything. Conversely, with an uptrend line waiting to break through the bottom edge of the trendline, that will be exit point (end of wave).

➡️Regarding break points, you also need to distinguish between real breaks and fake breaks to avoid being deceived by MM. To distinguish between a real break and a fake break, Hunt often uses volume. When a candle breaks through the trendline with volume surpassing MA20 & higher than the previous candle, it is a real break, when a candle breaks through the trendline but volume does not break through MA20. then that will be a fake break point to dunk.

2. The art of trendline blooming.

➡️In some cases, the price breaks the trendline for a short distance (dead wave) but does not have enough pump power, then the price will pierce the bottom as shown in the picture. You just need to expand the trendline and find the next break point to enter the line (usually these If this trendline expands, the price will not deepen.)

Summary: Usually, the ideal entry point will be the break point of the trendline or the rhythm of backtesting the trendline.

For example, if you enter a break order in frame D, you can set stl a little below the nearest bottom in a smaller time frame like H4). Remember, the higher the time frame, the more effective it is to use M > W > D > H4.

Note: You need to test it many times first and become proficient in using it. If you see effectiveness, then apply it later. You can draw any trendline on any chart then comment below so Hunt can correct your errors because if you draw the wrong trendline and apply it, it will be very dangerous. To draw a correct trendline, the 2 peaks & 2 bottoms must gradually get higher and lower.
