Severe Pullback! James Fickel's Long BTC/ETH Loss Exceeds 22,500 ETH, Huge Debt Hanging Overhead!
Monitoring data shows that James Fickel has incurred a total loss of 22,500 ETH due to his aggressive long positions in BTC/ETH, amounting to approximately $55 million. Reviewing his operational trajectory: from January 10 to July 1, he borrowed 3,061 WBTC (totaling $172 million) through Aave and converted it into 56,445 ETH at an exchange rate of 0.05424. To repay his enormous debt, since August 7, he has invested 12 million USDC to purchase 211 WBTC, and then exchanged 47,476 ETH for 1,888 WBTC (valued at $113.5 million) at an exchange rate of 0.04 to repay Aave's loan.
Even so, Fickel currently still carries a debt of 980 WBTC (approximately $132 million) on Aave. Investors can't help but wonder, is this operation a bold attempt, or is it a step deeper into risk?
