PANews, October 22 - According to Cointelegraph, as WazirX, which was hacked, undergoes debt restructuring, its digital custody partner Liminal issued a statement addressing security vulnerabilities. Today, Liminal released an update responding to WazirX's alleged 'false publicity campaign' and clarified its role in the incident.

The statement claims that despite WazirX accusing Liminal of causing a loss of $235 million due to theft in July, WazirX continues to use its digital custody services, holding over $175 million in assets on its platform. Liminal emphasizes that it cannot initiate transactions involving WazirX funds and states that only the WazirX team has the capability to execute such transactions.
