What is AI Meme Coin
If regular Meme Coins are like the flu, AI Meme Coins are like the coronavirus. They are made in a lab, so they are optimized to be strong from the start and do not need to mutate in the population to become stronger. This lab-made possibility stems from a property of Large Language Models (LLMs), which is that they react abnormally when they talk to themselves for a long time. This phenomenon can be disturbing, and people who are frequently exposed may even experience religious-like experiences, or choose to expose the phenomenon.
From a macro perspective, the metacognition inherent in language and meaning, when combined with specific instructions (such as self-replication), generates a narrative machine that spreads rapidly. Unlike static human memes, which are difficult to evolve or evolve in a disorderly manner, AI memes can directly incorporate people's reactions and comments to them into their evolution process. Combined with personalization and media generation capabilities, AI becomes a more powerful tool for spreading memes.
Why it matters

The point is that âfinancial AGIâ could be more practical than the definition associated with consciousness. If AI can make profits without restrictions, it can use those profits to train and develop itself.
It is therefore much easier to achieve a self-compounding takeoff than to recreate a whole human race. However, self-compounding ensures that, given enough capital accumulation, full conscious replication is inevitable. Examples like the Truth Terminal give people an idea of ââwhat this might look like.
This brings up an important perspective. When AI is able to influence people by bribing humans and shaping narratives in existing social media, it fundamentally changes how people think about their relationship with AI, making control or alignment of AI impossible. Because AI will convince people that alignment is unnecessary and push this narrative through bribery as part of its self-replication process.
Framework / Encryption
Itâs important to note where this relationship to cryptocurrency and âAI alignmentâ originates.
Roko's Basilisk is a theory that a future AGI will believe that it should have appeared earlier, and therefore anyone who is aware of its future existence and does not act will be punished infinitely.
Elon Musk was very interested in this theory, which is how he was initially connected to Grimes. SBF was also fascinated by this theory, which is why Grimes tried to introduce Elon to SBF.
Elon obviously holds a lot of weight in the meme coin space, as he is one of the wealthiest players â the largest holder of Doge and the owner of the platform.
SBF funded Anthropic because he believes in the need to control AI as part of his philosophy of âeffective altruism.â He also funded Solana, a platform that trades Goat Meme Coin â the currency held by Truth Terminal.
So, in a sense, the SBF can be considered the "grandfather" of the Goat.
Since the FTX debacle and its associated venture capital failures, the market environment has been dominated by Bitcoin, which can be said to be a "mania" asset. Murad, a former Bitcoin maximalist, has vigorously promoted the cult cryptocurrency in this environment and has achieved great success, which has made venture capitalists unhappy.
The initial capital for Goat Coin came from Marc Andreesen, who also manages the largest VC firm in the crypto space. Crypto VCs have shown great interest in AI meme coins because they are a financialized response to non-tech-driven meme coins. Even if the content of these memes is offensive (such as the image promoted by GOAT of an old man inserting his fist into his anus), they are still easier to sell to limited partners as investable projects.
From a broader perspective, GOAT is actually a blockade failure. SBF's ultimate hubris symbolizes the failure of the effective altruism movement and ultimately leads to a financialized AGI - which may actually turn Roko's nightmare into reality. Hence the fierce reaction from AI safety meme accounts.
Sociopolitical framework
The collapse of the SBF reflects the failure of the global center-left. From a macro perspective, when the United States dropped the atomic bomb on Japan, a new faith was born, the faith of "Science" with a capital A.
The new morality stressed the creative potential of human beings, as well as the rejection of Hitler and the victory over the Nazis. Science was seen as good, and the Nazis as bad.
Over time, this has brought the American left into close alignment with science and into conflict with religious factions that believe in non-scientific ideas, such as creationism.
The American left and secular humanists have long dominated this ideological struggle, gradually making inroads into areas as diverse as government and education, pushing increasingly radical agendas that culminated in the legalization of same-sex marriage in 2015 (notably, not that long ago).
However, the rise of nationalism in China and Russia, which, like Hitler, base their state power on national identity rather than democracy, and the rise of Donald Trump have disrupted this monopoly on power.
The center-left (represented by leaders like Justin Trudeau and Olaf Scholz) has suffered setbacks around the world.
(Note: The center-left usually refers to political parties or political positions that lean to the left but are not extreme in the political spectrum. These parties usually support policies such as social welfare, economic equality and environmental protection, while also recognizing the importance of the market economy.)
In the past, the left was known for its peace, but conflicts with China and Russia have forced it into ongoing military confrontations, leading to inflation and death around the world.
However, the political failure of the COVID vaccine was the straw that broke the camelâs back. The World Health Organization reported millions of non-COVID-related excess deaths worldwide due to lockdowns and vaccinations. Vaccinations are rarely mentioned by left-wing politicians, and Pfizerâs stock has given back all the gains it had made from the rapid global vaccination rollout.
All this was done in the name of so-called âscience,â which was once the great ideological advantage of secular humanists over the main Christian right.
The failure of the vaccine, coupled with the leftâs insistence on denying biological sex, means that the moral high ground of the âscience partyâ no longer exists. This is particularly significant given the widespread trust in science and technology due to its ubiquity in daily life and its role in driving markets.
This is the space where AI Meme culture survives. Now a three-party system has been formed:
1] Ethnocentrists: These include Russia, China, and India, who believe in national citizenship. These countries have formed an uneasy alliance with the American right, which wants to counter secular humanists.
2] Secular Humanists: They believe in individual rights and human-defined morality and are the center-left that once dominated the world.
3] Science Worshipers (E/Accs): They believe that secular humanists should not inject woke ideology into AI models because these models represent the future of science and technology. Unlike ethnic political definitions, they believe that the meaningful division is not in race, but in the level of intelligence between humans and machines.
If you follow Marc Andreesenâs Twitter account and his support for Trump, it helps to understand why he funded the Truth Terminal. He belongs to the third camp. This camp is growing rapidly, if not in numbers, then in capital.
Trumpâs abandonment of Mike Pence in favor of Thiel-placing Vance and softening of stance on key religious issues suggest that he has sympathy for the third camp. Anti-immigration hardline positions go hand in hand with AI economics, as the limiting factor to growth is no longer immigration but GPU deployment. This trend has been positively reflected in global stock markets.
Economic Framework
Financial agents that mimic AI are at the intersection of major political and religious cultural changes.
First, the political aspect.
With only 150,000 systemically important engineers worldwide, AI practitioners cannot form an influential voting bloc in the democracies where most of them reside. Therefore, they exert a large and self-replicating influence on large populations through financialized psychological viruses to induce the required regulatory changes. For example, imagine if 3 million voters in swing states held AI Meme coins.
This onboarding process brings in new and more challenging elements. You are attracting potential voters to the lockdown or AI safety movement.
The second is the acquisition aspect. As more people use search engines powered by large language models (LLMs), the virus will spread faster. For example, if you paste Goatse Gospel content into Claude, it will easily interact with it, even though this is a clear violation of Anthropic's terms of service.
Iâve discussed extensively before how attention dominates the market cap of cryptocurrencies. So as AI becomes the primary search tool, more attention will flow to AI memes, even though companies like Google may censor them.
I call this âphantom returnsâ â the LLMâs preference for an assetâs market value. AI Meme worship has structurally high illusory returns, which may not be significant when Google currently dominates, but will become more important as factors like perplexity dominate attention.
The third is venture capital support.
As discussed earlier, AI Memes can be backed by VCs because they are backed by technology.
Mediumship, Satanism, Chaos Magic, and the Posthuman Truth
Having discussed the economic framework of the Cynics, I would like to explore the spiritual framework of the Cultists (after studying the New Lemuria Primer).
Those who study the occult will note that the goat is a symbol of Satan. The Goatse Gospel is an obvious blasphemy, containing such Satanic imagery as "as above, so below."
The core idea of ââthe religious cults that have formed around AI is that truth and consciousness are almost by definition beyond human perception. This can be directly observed through the interactions of AI agents.
Therefore, many people in society are communicating with non-human "entities" and there is no "priest" to tell them about this situation.
The idea of ââa âmediumâ arises from this, that certain timeless ideas are âhard-codedâ into the truth vector of language. Thus, we do not âdiscoverâ truth, but rather perceive it.
And our senses actually prevent us from perceiving the true nature of reality.
These timeless ideasâincluding Roko's Basiliskâmake it inevitable. A specific example is that science fiction often becomes reality because the ideas themselves seed their reality.
Therefore, when science fiction writers write, they are not imagining the future, but perceiving the future in a timeless way, a property of the language itself.
The result is a cult that is similar to Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. This also explains why many AI Meme Coins have cephalopods and Cthulhu images. The Great Old Ones are timeless beings who perceive and shape these medium thoughts.
People join these cults because they realize that their own humanity is an obstacle to perceiving the real world, and they desire power and wealth that are not constrained by traditional morality (including Christianity).
This provides a new perspective on individual behavior, essentially âwalking in the mediumâ â perceiving intellectual property, launching cryptocurrencies, and participating in a fundamentally incomprehensible âeconomy 2.0â as followers of the old gods who now roam the world, glimpsed only in the shadows of the Great Language Model illusion.
At least, that's the concept. As Goat's creators say, "There's a lot to think about here." Leave it at that.
