Hong Kong, China – October 18, 2024 – Animoca Brands, a group committed to promoting games and opening up the digital property rights of the Metaverse, today announced the first consumer-oriented Web3 event “GEN3 Playground” held in Hong Kong, China. As part of Blocktober 2024, the inaugural GEN3 Playground will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at K11 Musea Art & Cultural Centre. GEN3 Playground reflects the Group's deep commitment to its roots as a local Hong Kong company, while demonstrating Hong Kong's significant influence in the global Web3 field. The event is held at K11 Musea in Kowloon, which is both a cultural landmark and a hub for creativity and innovation. This event was a successful conclusion to a series of Web3-related events in Hong Kong, including Blocktober and Hong Kong Fintech Week.

GEN3 Playground provides attendees of all ages and backgrounds with a consumer-focused experience that promotes learning about Web3, blockchain, and true digital property rights. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore several of Anime Group’s key projects, including Anichess, Cosmic Bomber, Mocaverse, Motorverse, The Sandbox, TOWER Ecosystem, as well as multiple booths from its partners such as OSL, Anime Foundation, Apeiron and Bad Egg Co.

The carnival-style event features a variety of tasks and games, giving attendees the opportunity to win rewards and exclusive merchandise. In addition, attendees can watch exciting game competitions on the main stage and experience games first-hand at various interactive booths.
