According to TechFlow, on October 17, Bloomberg reported that Nishad Singh, former engineering director of FTX, submitted a memorandum to a Manhattan federal judge through his legal team, asking the judge not to sentence him to prison for the FTX collapse.

Singh's lawyers highlighted three key factors in a memorandum filed late Wednesday to support the request for a lighter sentence for Singh: first, Singh's role in the FTX collapse was limited; second, he cooperated with investigators immediately after the incident; and finally, he promised to commit to living an "exemplary life" in the future.
