🚨MoonPay partners with Ripple to bring XRP to customers🔥

MoonPay has announced a partnership with Ripple to enable direct purchases of XRP for its customers. As of October 16, users can now buy, manage, and store XRP within their MoonPay accounts. This addition expands the range of cryptocurrencies available on the platform, which already includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether, and allows users to swap various cryptocurrencies across chains.

Users can buy crypto using credit cards as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. The platform also partners with PayPal to allow crypto purchases in supported jurisdictions.

The collaboration comes a day after Ripple named MoonPay as one of the exchange partners ahead of the company’s launch of the stablecoin RLUSD. Earlier this month, MoonPay added support for PayPal USD (PYUSD), the stablecoin issued by the U.S.-based digital payments giant.

Meanwhile, the company secured a key approval from Australian regulator AUSTRAC in September. The registration allows MoonPay to offer crypto exchange services in the country.

Regulatory approval means the crypto platform added support for local payment methods such as Osko and PayID.
