**Crypto Innovation in UAE's RAK DAO Free Zone**

At the Future Blockchain Summit in Dubai, Luc Froehlich, chief commercial officer of Ras Al Khaimah Digital Assets Oasis (RAK DAO), shared insights on fostering crypto innovation. He emphasized that RAK DAO aims to do more than just issue licenses; they partner with businesses to help them grow and connect with key players in the industry.

Froehlich noted the need for a central hub where crypto talent can converge and innovate. He highlighted the challenges faced by crypto projects in regions like the US and Europe, suggesting that the UAE could attract global talent due to its clearer regulatory environment.

He also pointed out growing trends in Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization and gaming within the local crypto space. With the upcoming gaming resort by Wynn in 2027, Froehlich expects a surge in blockchain-based projects in Ras Al-Khaimah, further boosting the emirate's economic development.
