Part 2 - About Market Capitalization. Example from this same week.

See how having a quantity of coins in your possession changes their value and consequently their capitalization.

Pepe is a memecoin: trading pairs that are created by inspiration from internet memes without a properly established function, made for highly volatile trade negotiations due to speculation.

This week, the holders of the largest amount of this token “burned”, that is, they isolated around 10% of the total available from the market.

Why did they do that?

Simply because they can... remember, whoever has the currency in their hand can say how much it is worth and “isolate”/burn the currency, making it become more scarce and increasing its price and consequently the Market Capitalization of the currency.

Remember the history of Brazil where coffee stocks were burned with the intention of increasing its price and correcting inflation in the economy? With memecoins it is even easier to do this type of market manipulation.
