Tron founder Justin Sun elected Prime Minister of Liberland
As Cointelegraph reported, Tron (TRX) founder Justin Sun was elected Prime Minister of Liberland in the October 5 election. Liberland is a self-proclaimed sovereign microstate located between Croatia and Serbia.
Liberland announced that entrepreneur Evan Luthra, journalist Jillian Godsi, former Croatian politician Ivan Pernar and information technology expert Dorian Stern Vukotić were also elected as Liberland MPs.
A Liberland spokesman said the election process was managed entirely by algorithms, providing transparency and removing doubts about the results.
Liberland’s announcement reflects the desire among cryptocurrency enthusiasts and industry executives to use blockchain technology to build micro-nations and decentralized cyber-states.
