Odaily Planet Daily News Cardano is now the custodian of the first legally binding smart contract on its network, which was signed under the jurisdiction of an Argentine court. The contract is a loan agreement between Cardano ambassadors Mauro Andreoli and Lucas Macchia for 10,000 ADA coins, worth $3,380, to be paid at an interest rate of 10% within 4 months. Andreoli explained in an article that this is the first time that an Argentine court can enforce full payment of ADA from a Cardano smart contract. Andreoli and Macchia also signed an accompanying legal document supporting key details of the smart contract loan, including the blockchain and wallet used with the transaction ID. (Cointelegraph)
