Former FTX Digital Markets co-CEO Ryan Salame will surrender to a federal prison on October 11 and serve a seven-and-a-half-year sentence. In social media posts, Salame described prison as an “exciting” experience and said he would treat his time in prison like summer camp.

Salame, one of the executives who faced charges after the collapse of FTX, pleaded guilty in September 2023 to making illegal political contributions and defrauding the Federal Election Commission. Other executives named in the same indictment are also awaiting sentencing.
