According to TechFlow, on October 6, Cointelegraph reported that the official website of toy manufacturer Lego Group was hacked, and a fake token advertisement called "LEGO Coin" briefly appeared on its homepage. According to witnesses, the ad stayed on the homepage for about 75 minutes before being removed. The ad claimed that buying "LEGO Coins" could unlock "secret rewards" and came with a "Buy Now" button, which would jump to a phishing website when clicked. Lego said that the incident had been resolved, no user accounts were affected, and measures were being taken to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
