Justin Sun receives $8.75 million from EigenLayer.

Tron founder Justin Sun has received $8.75 million from an EigenLayer airdrop, reportedly holding his EIGEN on HTX, where he serves as an advisor.

On Tuesday, EigenLayer removed transfer restrictions on its EIGEN token, allowing trading across various exchanges. This decision follows the distribution of 86 million tokens during the protocol’s second “stakedrop” season. Tokens from this stakedrop and the one held in April were initially non-transferable.
