Each epoch mints 767.000 new $IOTA tokens, resulting in a 6% annual inflation (279.955.000 $IOTA tokens minted yearly over 365 epochs). This inflation progressively reduces. 🔥To counterbalance inflation, all transaction fees are burned, permanently removing the tokens from circulation. This deflationary force ensures long-term sustainability while reducing the circulating supply over time. 🗝️ Transparency is key.
