Because virtual currency is often used by black and gray production gangs for "money laundering", the police intervened in the investigation and analyzed and collected evidence on the victim's computer, and then found a suspicious malicious program named svchsot.exe. After further investigation, the police locked the identity of the suspect.

On June 9, after careful planning and deployment in the early stage, the task force rushed to Lianjiang, Guangdong, and arrested six members of the hacker coin theft gang, including Su Mou, and seized nine computers, ten mobile phones, and 26 remote servers involved in the case on the spot.

After investigation, the suspect Su Mou (male, 28 years old) and others used phishing websites or sent Trojan files disguised as social engineering documents to induce users to download Trojan programs, remotely control the victim's computer, illegally obtain sensitive files in other people's computers, steal and defraud virtual currency to cash out more than one million yuan.

At present, the six people have been taken criminal compulsory measures for suspected illegal acquisition of computer information system data and illegal control of computer information systems.
