Bitcoin Market Stuck in Consolidation Phase Due to Capital Shortage$BTC
According to research firm Glassnode, the Bitcoin market is stuck in a consolidation phase due to a capital shortage.
The consolidation period, which began in April 2024 after the Bitcoin halving, has been significantly prolonged due to a significant drop in the volume of investment inflows into BTC. This is evidenced by the fact that people who have owned the cryptocurrency for less than 155 days are selling more coins than they are buying.
The positive news is that the realized price of Bitcoin, which is calculated by dividing the value of coins sold by the number of assets in circulation, has been gradually increasing, while the cryptocurrency rate has been declining. This suggests that Bitcoin has been depreciating faster than the capital outflow required.
