Robbie Mitchnick, head of digital assets at BlackRock, said that
Bitcoin has been wrongly labeled as a "risk asset".
The long-term drivers of Bitcoin are different from those of traditional risk assets,
and may even be the opposite.
The BlackRock white paper labels Bitcoin as a "unique diversified investment tool" and
emphasizes its potential to hedge currency and geopolitical risks.
Mitchnick said that stocks and other assets have nothing to do with Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is a scarce, global, decentralized, non-sovereign asset and should be a risk-averse asset.
Two or three things a year will affect the fundamental value of Bitcoin.
