After a wild and highly volatile trading week, Bitcoin's price action calmed down over the weekend, with the asset sitting quietly at $63,000. 🪙

Most altcoins have also stabilized on a daily basis, but some have posted impressive gains over the week, such as TAO, SUI, and APT.

Bitcoin started the week with a price drop from over $60,000 to under $58,000. Following the US Federal Reserve meeting, where it was decided to cut interest rates by 0.5%, BTC experienced some major swings, but the bulls prevailed and pushed the price up to $64,000 on Friday.

Despite this, the asset was unable to sustain the gains and rolled back to $63,000. BTC has gained 4.6% over the week, and its market cap has exceeded $1.240 trillion. Bitcoin's dominance over altcoins has fallen 1% to 54%.

Ethereum has gained 7% and is now trading around $2,700. SOL has increased 7% to $147, BNB (5.5%) to $585, SHIB has risen 6%, and AVAX has gained almost 10% to trade above $27. Among the major altcoins, TAO (47%), SUI (37%), and APT (28%) are leading the way.

The total cryptocurrency market cap has added over $100 billion since last Sunday and now stands at $2.3 trillion. 🚀
