The Kingdom of Bhutan is showing the potential to develop its economy with Bitcoin mining. On September 16, Arkham Intelligence announced that it had detected the first Bitcoin address of Bhutan’s investment arm, Druk Holding and Investments. DHI holds 13,029 BTC, 656 ETH, and some BNB and MATIC, totaling around $780 million worth of crypto assets. This means that Bhutan’s crypto reserves will account for 26.9% of its 2023 GDP.
