The wallets of the first Bitcoin miners, who received tokens as rewards after the blockchain was launched by Satoshi Nakamoto, have recently moved their tokens.

🗓️ On September 20, five mining wallets that received 50 BTC each since 2009 began moving their funds. Blockchain data shows that one wallet received the reward on January 29, 2009, three on January 31, 2009, and the last on February 2, 2009.

📈 250 BTC from $0 to $15.9 million

When they were first mined, 250 BTC were worth nothing. But by 2011, BTC hit $1 on the Mt. Gox exchange. By 2024, the value had risen to around $15.9 million, with BTC trading at $63,000 per token.

👥 Crypto Community Reacts

User X speculates that someone “found an old hard drive” or “woke up from a coma” and became a millionaire. Some think the wallet could belong to Nakamoto or Hal Finney.
