Meta said it will not use account information from people under the age of 18 in the UK. In July, the Irish Data Protection Commission ordered Meta to suspend the launch of its artificial intelligence assistant in the European Union due to data privacy issues, and Meta subsequently suspended the release of artificial intelligence in the European Union.
