🚀 Vitalik Buterin: Only Decentralized Ethereum Layer-2 from 2025! 🚀
Ethereum (ETH) creator Vitalik Buterin said that from 2025 onwards, he will only mention Layer-2 projects that are on the path to optimal decentralization.

🔍 Buterin refers to his 2022 publication, in which he described three stages of L2 decentralization:
Stage 0: The project is in the early stages of decentralization.Stage 1: The project uses fraud or validity proof schemes, has update requirements, and multi-sig signatures.Stage 2: The project is fully decentralized.
💡 Buterin notes that several ZK rollup teams are planning to reach Stage 1 by the end of 2024.
🔑 Key points:
From 2025, Vitalik will only support L2s that have reached Stage 1. This includes multi-sig schemes with minimal disruptions and robust security proof systems. Polygon (POL), with a market cap of $2.67 billion, is the largest L2, but is not yet named by Buterin as fully decentralized.
