Altcoin surprises attacker
A function called “0x7a50b2b8” was used during the attack, but it turned out that this function was not included in the token contract. According to CertiK’s report, the attacker is believed to have called a function called ILPFutureYieldContract() and this function is believed to have performed a transaction on another contract. The address of this contract ends with 1154 and is unverified.
It was also reported that there was only unreadable bytecode on BSC Scan.
According to Cointelegraph’s research, no marketing website or Twitter account related to the CUT token was found. This suggested that some investors may have confused this token with the Crypto Unity project, which has the same symbol.
