🚨【UK FCA charges illegal cryptocurrency ATM operators】🚨

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) recently filed multiple charges against London resident Olumide Osunkoya, accusing him of illegally operating multiple cryptocurrency ATMs. These ATMs processed £2.6 million worth of cryptocurrency transactions between December 2021 and September 2023, but were not registered with the regulator.

The FCA pointed out that Osunkoya faces two charges related to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulations, and two charges related to false documents "created and used" in his activities. In addition, he was also accused of "suspected criminal proceeds" property involving his cryptocurrency ATM business.
