[Dogecoin Foundation shares important update on roadmap progress]
The Dogecoin Foundation recently updated its roadmap, showing progress in improving the Dogecoin ecosystem.
In the past year, the foundation has made significant progress on projects such as GigaWallet, LibDogecoin and RadioDoge. According to a diagram shared by the foundation, the roadmap progress is divided into three steps.
* Step 1 has been 100% completed, focusing on making the development of Dogecoin easier and expanding the developer ecosystem through LibDogecoin, supporting multi-language binding, expanding the functional developer community, etc.
* 90% progress on Step 2, with the goal of lowering the barrier to adoption of Dogecoin for business and the unbanked through the GigaWallet payment gateway, e-commerce extension apps, and RadioDoge Dogebox OS.
* Step 3 is currently 10% complete. The plan is to upgrade the "Dog Proof" protocol of "Sakura Project" to increase the transaction throughput of Dogecoin, achieve a 10-fold increase in block speed and block size, and maintain Decentralization.
The roadmap was originally released in December 2021 to advance Dogecoin as a decentralized peer-to-peer payment application (dApp). The Foundation believes that this will lay the foundation for the future success of Dogecoin and ensure the continued improvement of network security and performance.
