We are pleased to announce that six groundbreaking projects have been selected for the ICP x BeWater x ABCDE Accelerator. These projects are at the forefront of innovation and bring forward-looking solutions aimed at advancing the ICP ecosystem in the Bitcoin network, Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN), and Artificial Intelligence (AI), where ICPâs technical infrastructure (such as Chain Fusion and DeAI run by smart contracts) can also enable builders to create unique products for users in these areas.
Each project makes a unique contribution to these dynamic fields, reflecting the Acceleratorâs commitment to nurturing the future of blockchain technology and its applications, and we are honored to welcome these outstanding initiatives to our program, which will drive significant progress in these transformative areas.
Congratulations to the selected projects! These projects will receive a total of $250,000 in funding to support their development, and starting in September 2024, the projects will participate in a series of online bootcamps designed to give them the skills and knowledge they need to refine their ideas.
On September 21, 2024, the ICP x ABCDE Mixer will take place, providing participants with the opportunity to present themselves to the community and network with industry leaders and potential collaborators.
Between September and October 2024, each project will have dedicated one-on-one sessions with experienced mentors to receive tailored guidance in preparation for the upcoming Demo Day in late October, when teams will present their innovations and potential impact to a wider audience, including investors, industry experts, and community members.

4. BitCow
BitCow is setting a new standard for decentralized finance on Bitcoin's Layer 2 solutions. BitSmiley is the first stablecoin project in the Bitcoin DeFi ecosystem and is making a splash. Co-invested by OKX Venture and ABCDE, BitSmiley is driving innovation in its application design and protocol layers, with a focus on providing stablecoin solutions that are seamlessly integrated with Bitcoin, pushing the limits of BTC DeFi.
6. BifiPal
BifiPal is committed to changing the financial landscape of Bitcoin. By leveraging ICP technology, BifiPal provides a comprehensive financial protocol designed to address the liquidity challenges and low returns associated with Bitcoin. Its goal is to create a strong financial system for Bitcoin and gradually introduce traditional financial services into the Bitcoin network.
This yearâs teams will have a significant impact on the ICP ecosystem, advancing its role in the Bitcoin network, DePIN, and AI. Each project will drive significant progress in these areas, enhancing ICPâs integration and innovation in these transformative technologies. Their contributions will play a key role in shaping the future of the ICP ecosystem.

Offline Activities
The ICP Drinks Mixer 2049 cocktail party, jointly organized by BeWater, ICP, ABCDE and G-20, will be held in Singapore on September 21.
