đ¨Binance has announced that it will suspend all deposits and transactions on the Cardano (ADA) blockchain on September 1st in support of the long-awaited network upgrade and the Chang hard fork
â˘The upcoming upgrade was initially scheduled for Wednesday, August 27th. However, many cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance, were not fully prepared for it.
â˘Last week, Cardano founder Charles Hawkinsson announced that the network's developers had delayed the hard fork until September 1st to give the platforms more time.
â˘The magic of deadlines is that people who don't take updates seriously suddenly say, oh shit, we need to move on.
â˘It seems that Binance and several other companies need more time, so we are going to wait, Charles Hoskinson wrote then. Now almost all sites are ready for updating.
â˘At least, this has already been reported by the leading cryptocurrency exchanges Binance, Binance US, Coinbase, Bubit, KuCoin, HTX (formerly Huobi Global) and Kraken.
