Puffer Finance recently released its latest roadmap update and revealed several key development plans. According to the announcement, Puffer plans to launch a token generation event (TGE) in early Q4 of this year and launch the governance token PUFI. In addition, Puffer's locked volume (TVL) has now exceeded 500,000 ETH, and the ecosystem is growing. Currently, there are more than 5,000 node operators supporting Puffer's decentralized infrastructure.
Puffer's UniFi AVS is expected to be launched at the end of August. This is the first UniFi-based rollup-driven solution that can provide pre-confirmation for L2 transactions. At the same time, the Puffer UniFi rollup testnet will be launched in September. As the first atomically composable rollup, users will be able to quickly withdraw funds from L2 to L1 within the same block.
In addition, Puffer also plans to launch the Restaking V2 version in early Q4, bringing new features such as faster reward mechanism, global mandatory anti-slashing, and significantly reducing the collateral requirements for node operators. The cash withdrawal system is also expected to open at the same time.
