PANews reported on August 29 that according to CoinDesk, an Indian court ordered the Indian Ministry of Communications to shut down 38 websites that used the name of the cryptocurrency exchange Mudrex to commit fraud. After Mudrex filed a lawsuit in the Delhi High Court, the court ruled on August 23 that the Ministry of Communications must execute the order within a week. Previously, Mudrex took legal action due to multiple users reporting fraud, and it is estimated that the number of victims may reach 1,000, with losses exceeding $50,000. These scammers impersonated Mudrex employees through Telegram and used fake websites to illegally collect funds.
